yay ubuntu! i'm running ubuntu on my desktop machine.

speaking of which, i have a question for you, since you helped me build the cool case for it(!) So when I was messing with stuff the other day, I accidentally made the lovely wiring we had done. We had 2 LEDs wired up, and over time the wiring seems to have come apart, and completely came apart when I was messing with stuff. So perhaps you could tell me how to put it back together. :)

In particular, does there need to be a resistor? b/c one of them seems to, but not the other. (there seem to be two wires coming from e/ LED, w/ one wire from each joining together and then another wire coming off of that going to the power. and the other wire from each LED also comes together, and has another wire coming off of it, going to the power. But there is a resistor before one of the wires going to the power, but not the other... any ideas?
:)

Mostly off topic, but a cool project you might like to see, is linked from <"lj user="bkleber">'s latest couple of posts... do-it-yourself electronic whiteboard with a Wiimote and projector.

Yeah, I've seen that up on a number of forums. It's a project that I'd love to try at some point.
